The old charger cable for my GPS failed after two years of use. Since it was out of warranty I had no choice but to find a replacement. I was happy to see that Amazon carried what I needed at about half the cost of the 'shack' (seriously, who charges for a piece of wire?). This cable does the job and is made at least as well as the original charger. Very pleased.

I purchased both the RAM mount along with the Gilsson Direct Wire Cable for Garmin Nuvi to mount my Garmin with hard wire. The 90 degree plug on the wire does not properly connect into the Garmin unit as it interferes with the plastic rib below the connector on the Garmin. I was, however, able to remedy this with a hand grinder removing 50% of the rib. This is an issue with the cable as the cable included with the Garmin has a longer plug.
