Magellan Maestro 4040 4.3-Inch Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator (Factory Refurbished)

Magellan Maestro 4040 4.3-Inch Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator (Factory Refurbished) Review

I happened to go to Canada and Hawaii this year, so I wanted to pick up a GPS that had those maps. After searching for a bit, I found this unit on Amazon for about .

It does everything I expect it to including:
text to speech
Alaska (haven't tried), Hawaii, and Canada maps
a lot of Points of Interest

I like that it can figures out my current location fairly quickly. It seemed to take my Navigon 5-10 minutes to pinpoint the current location.

One negative is the user interface isn't as intuitive as some other GPS systems I've used. If I don't use it for a few weeks, I forget how to save new locations.

Overall, great value for the money.
