Garmin Forerunner 110 GPS-Enabled Sport Watch with Heart Rate Monitor (Pink)

Garmin Forerunner 110 GPS-Enabled Sport Watch with Heart Rate Monitor (Pink) Review

I have been running for 6 years, anywhere from 3-8 miles every other day and decided to start taking it more seriously and began training for a marathon. I read reviews about everything, from socks to compression running shorts! Based on research, I recently purchased a FR110 and I would like to share my experience. I wear it on a daily basis as "work watch" without looking like Inspector Gadget and when it is time to run, I kick it into overdrive with the heart rate monitor. I understand that the watch does not have a current pace display only an overall pace, and I prefer that. I want to know that if I start to dig hard I will see that results later on Garmin Connect; because, that last thing I am thinking about when I am sucking ozone and kicking until my heart explodes is... I wonder how fast I am going?
To those who are thinking about buying a GPS watch, I feel that Garmin watches are the best quality, and if you don't need to navigate the eastern seaboard while running, this watch has everything you need.
An additional item of interest is Garmin Connect, it is an online data base that is really user friendly and does not require any installations on your computer. This device is literally plug and play. Enjoy.
